Glazing (painting) isn't included in your clay-building workshop—think of it as the sequel. Book your glaze time separately when you're ready to add that perfect pop of colour.

please note: guests cannot be subtracted after purchase
  • Each glazing session covers 1 workshop creation for each person.
  • Please ensure all attendees have a paid registration for glazing.
  • Every child must be accompanied by a registered adult—adults are not included with a child’s registration and must be booked separately.
  • As every seat is accounted for and we typically reach full capacity, we cannot add participants on the day.
  • If all required participants are not registered in advance, your booking will be forfeited.
  • We are unable to overfill workshops, as this compromises the experience for everyone.

Did you take part in a clay workshop at the studio?

Great! To return and glaze your pieces, you’ll need to book a glazing appointment.

Glazing sessions are sold by the seat — every person attending needs their own seat on the booking.

(One person can book multiple seats.)

Each registered person may glaze 1 workshop creation.

You can book glazing time 14 days after your clay hand-building workshop, unless we contact you with an updated timeline due to cracking or kiln issues or your art is ready early!

What is glazing?

Glazing means adding glazes (paint) to your clay piece.

Glaze is a glassy coating added to clay for decoration as well as to make it non-porous and safe to use with food and drinks.

Here's how it works

You sculpt with wet clay → we let it dry → we fire it once in our kiln (very hot oven for clay) → you come back to paint (underglaze!) → we fire it again → we add clear glaze → we fire it one more time → then you pick up your finished masterpiece!

We hold onto your art babies for 60 days, and then… well… they might take a mysterious journey to the Great Clay Shelf in the Sky.  Please pick it up—we’re emotionally invested.
